Coastal Pines was the perfect place for our family to get away from the hustle and bustle of our respective cities. The house comfortably fit our entire family of 12, offered every amenity we could possibly ask for (beach chairs, beach towels, kitchen necessities, bathroom necessities, washer/dryer, entertainment and more!), and was conveniently located. One of our favorite memories is gathering around the quaint fire pit in the back yard making s'mores and watching the deers pass by. The house was also a three minute walk to the calm & white sandy beaches of Douglas Beach. We enjoyed watching some of the most beautiful sunsets we've ever seen from that beach. The house was also a quick jaunt from Oval Beach as well as the Kalamazoo River where we kayaked and saw lily pads in full bloom, bald eagles, turtles, and blue herons galore. Overall, the trip was serene and allowed our family to enjoy spending time together. We would highly recommend staying at Coastal Pines and will definitely be back to rent it again.
